Pre-University Courses
Admission to Pre-University Courses is open to candidates who have passed one of the following:
- i)S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board
- ii)Matriculation Examination of an Indian University
- iii)Any other examination recognized by the Board as equivalent to the Matriculation Examination

Candidates who are unable to pursue regular courses of study in a college or university have an opportunity to do so as students of Karnataka Open University which has MGM college Udupi as one of its centres.

The UGC peer team which visited MGM College in 2004 has recommended even Autonomous status to the Institution.
